A mysterious painting

 
A Manichaean painting depicting a figure holding a cross was exhibited at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York in 2010.
Currently, it is only on public display for two days each year during the annual treasure exhibition in November.
 
Recent studies increasingly support the theory that the figure depicted is Jesus Christ.
